Abstract: Wenlin procedure is a minimally invasive surgery designed for pectus carinatum, which is similar to Abramson procedure to a certain extent, but their natures are completely different. Wenlin procedure is a typical template plastic surgery. This nature makes it possible to be used not only in protrusion deformities such as pectus carinatum, but also in a variety of complex deformities including depression deformities. With the progress of the concept of deformity treatment, the role of Wenlin procedure will become more and more significant.
